Perimeter Institute and WICI present the "Hammers & Nails Climate Workshop" on Monday July 17th, 2023. This workshop will continue the spirit of the May 2023 WICI-Fields Math for Complex Climate Challenges Workshop, aiming to bring mathematicians in the same room with experts from climate, energy and biodiversity research.
This particular workshop will provide a unique opportunity for Perimeter's theoretical physics research community to interact with experts from the emerging Math4Climate network. Can mathematical methods used at Perimeter, such as causal inference, techniques in algebraic topology or strong gravity simulations inspire new approaches in climate, energy and biodiversity research?
